What you will lead as a Data Analyst:

  • Ensure effective operations of the current data integrations to SQL Server BI warehouse
  • Maintain, evolve and improve the reliability of data availability and functionality
  • Troubleshoot and debug system failure, develop and deploy long term solutions
  • Support current extract transform load (ETL) jobs, ETL flow, and data mapping deployments
  • Acquire and transform data from primary and/or secondary data sources
  • Identify, analyze, interpret and analyze data trends and patterns to develop datasets and reports for business needs
  • Produce regular performance and analytical reports for various groups, prepare commentary of observations and analysis to explain month over month and quarter over quarter fluctuations, and produce weekly attestation packages
  • Develop new reports, business projects/initiatives, control policies, and testing of new changes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Work closely with Application Vendors and internal specialists to support and enhance data models, queries, integrations, and other ongoing production support tasks.

As the Data Analyst with Nurse Next Door, you will have the following technical skills:

 

  • Tableau programming, analytical report, dashboard development, troubleshooting
  • Strong SQL skills/experience using MS SQL Server, MySQL, SSIS, SSMS, SQL Server Management Studio, PostgreSQL
  •  3-4 years of experience using Tableau 10.3 or higher
  • Experience on AWS EMR with PySpark, Python, and AWS Tech Stack
  • Mainframe, DB2, Relational Database knowledge
  • Data modeling skills, and proficiency with SQL (i.e. T-SQL, PL/pgSQL, PL/V8).
  • Working experience of Linux (e.g. RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian) or Unix variant (e.g. FreeBSD, AIX, macOS) Operating Systems
  • Coding language experience beneficial but not essential with ETL flows with complex Transformations/Routines using Python 3, Java, Javascript, Bash Shell Scripting

  • Recognized post-secondary Information Technology university, college or technical school or industry certification
  • 3-7 years in the data analytics and BI fields coupled with strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, design, and disseminate significant amounts of information with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong understanding of modern BI, Data Warehouse, reporting framework, and structure
  • Experience in managing, troubleshooting, and addressing technical issues/concerns in a timely manner
  • Strong understanding of reporting/dashboard design
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong skills to understand business requirements, develop & maintain documentation
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Ability to balance risk, cost, and benefits
