Job Description: Qatar Petroleum (QP) is a state-owned public corporation established by Emiri Decree No. 10 in 1974. It is responsible for all phases of the oil and gas industry in the State of Qatar.The principal activities of QP, its subsidiaries and joint ventures are the exploration, production, local and international sale of crude oil,natural gas and gas liquids, refined products, synthetic fuels,petrochemicals, fuel additives, fertilizers, liquefied natural gas(LNG), steel and aluminium. Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the corporate compliance program to ensure the privatized companies are in compliance with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements set by regulators for privatized companies, and that the companies’ policies and procedures are being followed.
• Coordinate and carry out compliance audit activities to ensure that the Privatized Companies Affairs Department act within the ambit of authorisations granted by Qatar Petroleum from time to time.

Job Requirements

• Have 8 years post qualification work experience in a relevant field.
• Possess strong analytical skills and be able to resolve complex problems in a tactful way.Preferably fluent in both English and Arabic
• BA in law or accounting.A qualified Company Secretary, Lawyer, Internal Auditor, or Compliance professional.
