Job Description:
As a Farm Worker at Green House Canada, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our greenhouse facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
• Planting, cultivating, and harvesting a variety of crops, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, and leafy greens.
• Monitoring and maintaining greenhouse conditions, including temperature, humidity, and irrigation systems.
• Operating and maintaining farm equipment, such as tractors, sprayers, and irrigation systems.
• Assisting with the application of fertilizers and pesticides, following safety guidelines and regulations.
• Conducting regular inspections of crops, identifying and addressing any pest or disease issues.
• Sorting and packing harvested produce for distribution and ensuring product quality.
• Assisting with general farm maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, repairs, and landscaping.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
• Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in varying weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of greenhouse operations and crop cultivation practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
• Valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship.
