What You’ll Do

As a key support position, this role will assist the Master Plan Manager in the planning and delivery of the Perth Airport Master Plan 2026. The role will provide vital project support, with a variety of procurement, document control, preparation of project management reports, other key documentation, agenda preparation and record keeping being integral to the role. The role is more than administrative in nature – you will be part of a delivery function for the development, procurement and preparation of the vast Master Plan inputs and other requirements in the preparation and delivery of such an important document.

This role is responsible for ensuring the Master Plan Manager has the relevant and essential documentation, processes and resources that are essential to ensuring the timely delivery of the Master Plan 2026. You will also be preparing key strategies and objectivities across many internal and external stakeholders to maintain project momentum.

The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate, build and maintain relationships, with both internal and external PAPL stakeholders.

About You

Minimum requirement for the role will be 2 years plus of document project delivery in a corporate environment, ideally in the production of broad corporate wide documents with a public interface. Also, you are an expert in corporate programs including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. We are looking for an effective communicator who is organised and efficient and can coordinate a multitude of things at once with competing priorities, possessing sound organisational skills. You are able to demonstrate a positive attitude along with good planning and time management skills.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: –

The role of the Customer Service Officer “Kerbside” at Brisbane Airport reports directly to the Transport Shift Manager and Team Leader. The role will start as a Casual Employee working 20 plus hours per week with a view to becoming permanent in the future. A Customer Service Officer “Kerbside” is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, direction and information to both passengers and commercial partners alike on and around our roadways pickup and drop off aeras.

Duties include directing passengers to the right locations, allocating taxi’s to departing customers, providing first aid to all visitors as required, and general management of traffic so that all clients enjoy a seamless landside operation experience.

All applicants will need to be physically fit and able to stand, walk and continually move for generally between 5 and 8 hr shifts which start anytime from 4am and finish as late as midnight. You must have good Mon-Sun availability and be prepared to attend work at short notice when required.

Our teams stay fit on Kerbside walking between 5,000 and 25,000 steps per shift. Ability to keep calm and provide concise and specific information is needed, the use of handheld radios will be required with calm clear spoken communications being key. On the job training will be provided after the first days induction.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Honest, reliable, bubbly, and punctual

• Friendly, cooperative, and helpful with customers

• Good communication skills with the patience to deal tactfully with people

• Ability to follow instructions as necessary

• Ability to work cooperatively and harmoniously with work colleagues and supervisors

• Willingness to comply with all corporate policies and procedures, in particular OH&S.

• Current full drivers’ license

• Willing to work in rotating shifts, any shift and weekend shifts

• The role requires a First Aid certificate and Traffic Control “Training can be provided”

• A Police check and Airport ASIC card will be required
